Intro to Blogging Online

The design of this course enable students to understand and effectively be able to use a variety of “web 2.0″ technologies tools such as: blogs, RSS, wikis, YouTube, WordPress, social bookmarking tools, photo sharing tools, mapping tools, audio and video podcasts, and screencasts. It is an ideal course for students who would like to start a blog but was unsure about how or where to begin, and it is particularly of special interest for those novice student bloggers who signed up for WordPress, wrote their first post and then realized they didn’t know where to go from there. In this course, we will guide you with some practical steps as we go over the basics of blogging (how to start a blog, how to name it, what to write about, and tips for building traffic). Everything illustrated in this course is essential to what is needed to get off the ground and get blogging.
