Making the IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) Work for You 2/24/2014

In this workshop, you will be provided with ideas on how you can “customize” the IEP to your classroom needs.   We will examine how to work with vague or unrealistic modifications and curriculum complications.  We will discuss mastery of subject  vs. improvement, confidentiality and assimilation of the inclusion student(s). The importance of rapport, essential questions, practical applications and student interests to curriculum and lesson planning will also  be explored.  Several creative classroom solutions will be provided as well as ideas on how to get administrative assistance.
