The PARCC: Purpose, Format, Strategies for Success

Grades 3-10

This workshop will thoroughly familiarize teachers with the purpose for the PARCC, provide multiple samples of PARCC format and, most importantly, provide practical strategies for helping students prepare for the assessment.  Reading and writing sample materials aligned to PARCC design will be used and shared in a hands-on,

participation-friendly workshop that will leave teachers with materials they can use the very next day in class.  The workshop will also show teachers how to use the curriculum and materials, which they already have on-hand, to prepare their students for PARCC success.
