Understanding Behavior in the Classroom 3/24/14

In order to better work with behavior we must first explore the causes of behavior.  This interactive course explores contemporary best practices and perspectives.  We will discuss sensible consequences and how we deal with the monopolizer, the withdrawn student, etc., and examine these behaviors in Role Playing scenarios based on workshop member interests. This workshop is designed to give you a new perspective on student behavior and effective tools for facilitating positive student change. The course teaches behavior techniques and intervention strategies that remediate disruptive behaviors, reduce power struggles while increasing classroom control, and reduce your workloads and burnout.
