College Preparation Workshops: Start Your College Planning Today for Success 3/8-29/14

The college application process is complex and can sometimes be overwhelming. This small classroom setting will provide students with individualized attention and a plethora of college readiness resources. The following topics will be covered during each session:  the application process; how the admissions office works; how students can present their grades, test scores and GPA; extracurricular activities and college resume; and what you need to perfect the college essay. Each student will complete a self-assessment inventory to analyze college major and career exploration, and much more.  This workshop is appropriate for sophomore, junior and senior. Parents are invited to participate with the students in the last workshop to review their child’s progress and have an open discussion about college planning.

Enrollment is limited to 12 students.
