Manager as Coach 4/21/14
The first step is defining the role of the manager as opposed to the role
of leader. Coaching is defined as a two-way process, using ongoing
feedback, to reinforce positive actions and outcomes. The focus is on
developing knowledge and skills. Participants will learn these skills as
well as how to counsel when coaching does not work.
