NJASK & HSPA Process Writing Targeted to Middle School & High School low-achieving Writers 7/16/14

Teachers unfamiliar with—or  in need of a refresher in—process writing will be introduced to the five steps of the writing process and the multi-paragraph essay format.  This workshop would be especially helpful for beginning teachers of grades 5-9 writing, or for those teaching older students in need of basic writing strategies.  Mnemonic devices to help students with this step-by-step writing technique will be provided.  Introduction, body, and conclusion paragraph formats and strategies will be presented, modeled, and practiced by attendees.
